Visualization & note-taking. I really can't preach the effectiveness of these two "old school" tactics - yes, they require a physical writing utensil - that I've practiced since middle school. The mind and motivation indeed work in mysterious ways, like a magical mental alternator.
But don't take my word for it: Here's a former Google career coach's take on setting (and visualizing) tangible goals that will, with the help of both your handwriting and your subconscious, yield results in 2017.
By writing down your goals and organizing them in your own individual style proves dedication and commitment, to yourself. Regardless of your approach - from the complex (above) to the basic (right) - the concept is simple but powerful: Conceive it. Visualize it. Pursue it. Accomplish. Mindset truly equals reality, as illustrated in fantastic simplicity above, from one of my favorite inspirational websites, This Is Indexed.
Commit yourself to becoming better in the New Year. Personally, professionally, and/or spiritually. By adopting this practice and employing the help of others (a mentor, a recruiter, a friend), you can upgrade to that new and improved version of YOU.0. And don't forget to enjoy the heck out of the journey...
That said, here's to a transformational & prosperous 2017!
